<p>Many times when we started going to a gym with the intention of creating an attractive muscular body, we fall into the mistake of trying to get results quickly and all we get is a slight muscle burn by doing exercises in an incorrect way or the an incorrect amount of repetitions.
<p>In a moment I&#8217;ll tell you what I mean by this.<br /> 
<p>Learning how to gain muscle is not difficult, but it is not easy either. It takes discipline and constancy to achieve these goals.</p>
<p>Everything falls in two categories knowledge and the application of that knowledge; therefore, we must train smarter and not harder. This does not mean that I can achieve results without work, no sir &#8211; that is far away from the truth. What I mean is that we must work in a more methodical way. We must follow a plan based on the basic knowledge that I will comment on this article.</p>
<p>So let get some basic knowledge, to develop our own exercises and routines.</p>
<p>1. First of all you should know that muscle is being developed by muscle fibers that are growing and forming in our muscles every time we force them to carry more weight than usual. 
<p>2. Series should not make more, no sir, you just need to train so that your muscles develop &#8211; your strength will change gradually. If you try to do it all in one day, all you&#8217;re going to do is to burn muscle and will not develop the necessary order to be able to form fibers to build the muscle.
<p>3. You have to work in stages of 2 weeks. You must do 3 sets of 10 for each muscle you want to develop. In the first series should start with a smooth weight &#8211; remember that you are heating. In the second series of the same exercise, you should gain a little weight, this is for your muscle fence to accustom to increasingly heavier weights, so in an unconscious way the body develops these fibers because it has to be prepared for next time. In the third stage, you should gain more weight. At that stage you should work for 2 weeks with the same weights. At the start of week 3, you can raise one a pound on each of the series. So, in this way, your muscles will develop in a super-fast way. 
<p>4. On one day, you will work a part of your body and develop certain muscles but those same muscles will need to rest the next day. While these muscles are resting you must work another set of muscles. 
<p>5. You must reduce your training time. By this I mean that between each series, if rested 1 minute for example, now you just have to rest 30 seconds and continue with the other series. When you go to switch to another muscle group, then you should rest 30 seconds and stretch again another 30 seconds before starting to work a different muscle.</p>

<p>Indeed, you will need a stationary object to wrap the band around, like a post. I&#8217;ve seen people tying their band to a door handle, but I&#8217;m not sure it&#8217;s the safest thing to do. That&#8217;s why I recommend to get some sort of door attachment. Hopefully some exercise bands manufacturers provide it with your set of bands. This opens the door to so much more exercises.
<p>Here&#8217;s how you perform the chest press with exercise bands:
<p>1. Wrap the band around a post or pass it through the door anchor provided with your set. Grab the band by the handles, each in one hand, your back to the post or door. The band should be at chest height, but with a door attachment system can also be placed lower so you train on another angle.
<p>2. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, you may have to make one little foot step so you have one a bit in front of the other to stabilize your body. Have your hands with handles to your chest height, palms down. That&#8217;s the starting position
<p>3. Press the handles in front of you, still at chest height, by extending your arms parallel to the floor. You will feel the tension in your chest. Get back to the starting position by keeping control of the tension, you&#8217;ve just performed one chest press rep.
<p>You should be able to perform 8 to 12 reps and if you can go over 12 then it&#8217;s time to use a stronger tension resistance band. There are more chest exercises you can do with exercise bands, chest press being only one of those.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m in my 3rd round of P90X and I have to tell you I love this program! P90X has changed my life and I&#8217;m here to tell you why.
<p>1. I&#8217;m in the best shape of my life. My absolute number one reason why I love P90X is the simple truth that at 48 years old I am in the best shape of my life. I was never a sedentary person. I&#8217;ve run 2 marathons, many half marathons, and countless 5K and 10K races. However, I had never done a program anything like P90X. While I had decent cardiovascular fitness, I was nowhere near the fitness level I am today.
<p>2. I quit the gym. I was spending $600 per year, or $50 per month, for my gym membership &#8211; but no more! I invested about $120 in P90X. That&#8217;s a one-time investment that I recouped in about 2.5 months. The best thing about my return on investment is not the money I&#8217;m saving &#8211; it&#8217;s the fitness results I achieved with P90X.
<p>3. I don&#8217;t need to invest thousands of dollars of fitness equipment. With P90X all I need are some dumbbells or resistance bands and a pull up bar. I could add other items such as a yoga block, and yoga mat, but these are not mandatory items.
<p>4. I can do P90X forever. When I finished my first round I wondered &#8220;what now?&#8221; I immediately thought, &#8220;do it again.&#8221; Add some intensity, and mix in Insanity. As I&#8217;ve moved into my third round, I&#8217;ve discovered I&#8217;ll probably to a fourth, fifth, sixth round and beyond. P90X is a plan I can follow forever.
<p>5. P90X Support. P90X is so popular now that I find support in a variety of places. It seems almost everyone I run into at my office is either doing P90X or knows someone who is. We exchange our P90X experiences daily and help one another stay accountable to the program and to our general health and fitness. The Beachbody Message Boards are another great source of support. Here you will find the whole Beachbody community sharing their thoughts and solutions on a variety of topics.</p>

This is perhaps the primary reason that we invest all that time training and worrying whenever we get the slightest glimpse of the &#8220;muffin top.&#8221; Unfortunately, even though you spend a long time a day at the gym attempting to keep your body toned and fit there are some habitsthings you probably dont even think about that could be completely sabotaging your efforts. In this article we will look more carefully at what you could be doing to keep your belly flabby.
<p>Do you spend lots of time in front of the television set? Obviously periodically lying on the sofa and watching a few shows is exactly what you need to do to feel better about something. Perhaps you will have had a bad day, possibly you&#8217;re under a lot of stress, maybe you need a day to relax. At the same time recent scientific studies show that people who spend more than two hours per day sitting and watching television are ten percent more likely to have weak muscles in their back and in their abdomen. The best way to counteract this is to exercise in front of the television. Obviously that is the better plan for many who work out in their own homes.
<p>Do you usually allow your stress levels build to the point of breaking? If you have a incredibly tense job or home life, this might be working against the exercise that you do. People who suffer from chronic stress levels and anxiety issues are more likely to have flabby abs. You may also help yourself by studying good relaxation techniques and keeping your stress levels at a minimum. There are a large amount of excellent breathing methods that will help you keep your stress levels at a manageable level.
<p>Eating snacks late in the evening might also be contributing to your flabby middle, even though you work out each day. Snacking and then heading straight to bed means that your meals are more likely to simply be stored for when you need it. When we sleep all of our bodily systems slow and that means that the body won&#8217;t be as likely to burn of what you have eaten in a timely manner. Try to keep the snacking to a minimum and stop at least two or three hours before you head to bed.
<p>There are a lot of people who are going to explain that you should never eat bread if you want to have good abs. Studies have been done that confirm both that bread is quite beneficial and that it doesn&#8217;t do anything but make you very fat. Ask your physician what sort of information or advice is the most relevant to you and the rest of your body.
<p>Keeping stomach muscles strong involves a lot more than just working out for a couple of hours each day. It calls for vigilance even when we arent at the health club. Watch what you consume, when you eat it and endeavor to keep stress low.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In order to have well-defined muscles, you must first get rid of the layer of fat that&#8217;s covering them. But despite what some people are trying to make you believe, losing excess fat from your body cannot be achieved simply by swallowing a pill or modifying your eating schedule. To lose excess fat, you need to work for it (i.e., workout/exercise), you also need to have the determination to achieve your goals, and you have to have the discipline to do things the right way.
<p>That may sound a lot of work, but the fact is, that&#8217;s the only way that you can achieve your muscle building goals. To help you get started, here are some tips on how you can help your body shed those excess fat safely and quickly.
<p>1. Write your muscle building goals down. Yes, doing this will not let you lose excess fat on its own, but writing down your goal will have your subconscious mind holding you to your muscle building resolution. If you don&#8217;t write down your goals, you are doomed to failure even before you start doing anything.
<p>2. Drink green tea. Some researchers have claimed that green tea could a boost metabolism and help with weight loss. In a small study conducted in 1999, green tea appeared to raise metabolic rates and speed up fat oxidation. As an added bonus, green tea also contains antioxidants which help to prevent the formation of free radicals that cause many diseases, such as cancer.
<p>3. Eat the right food during breakfast and in all your meals. To build muscle, you need a lot of protein (you&#8217;ll need about 1.0 to 1.2 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight if you really want your muscles to grow). And for a nearly instant energy boost that lasts, you also need a consistent supply of complex carbohydrate. And the best sources of complex carbohydrates are foods that are in their most natural state like oatmeal, bran and brown rice. Other good sources of complex carbohydrates are pasta, bread, and corn. Just make sure to stay away from fats, except essential fatty acids (i.e., omega-3) which you get from fish.
<p>4. Eat foods that speed up your metabolism. These include peppers, grapefruit, berries, prunes, plums, almonds and other kinds of nuts, spinach and other leafy greens, egg whites, and turkey and chicken breasts, just to name a few.
<p>5. Eat 5 to 6 small portioned meals a day. This will boost your metabolism, helping you to burn more calories all day long (provided that you follow tips #3 and #4 up there). Additionally, eating this way will have your energy level soaring and keep your hunger cravings at an all time low.</p>
